Moore Catholic High School was founded in 1962 by the late Francis Cardinal Spellman and the Presentation Sisters of Staten Island. In 1966, Moore Catholic received its official registration from the Board of Regents. Today, Moore Catholic High School’s mission and vision is stewarded by a dedicated faculty, staff, alumni, Board of Trustees and by the Sisters of Our Lady of the Garden. Moore Catholic High School is located on Staten Island, one of the five boroughs of New York City that has suburban-like characteristics, is just a 20 minutes’ drive to Manhattan. |

Qualified students may take advanced courses at Moore for both high school and college credit. Credit is granted by St. John's University and the credit is transferable. Courses in English, History, Introduction to College Mathematics, Calculus, and Business Management are available and taught by Moore faculty members who have adjunct status with St. John's University. |
