Admission Requirements

 

  1. All applicants submit a copy of a recent transcript from the current school year, report cards, and a registration form. (The transcript should include all standardized test scores.)
  2. The applicant will fill out an application form.
  3. Upon submitting the above documents, the student will be invited to visit Bishop Gorman during a school day (if possible). The student will have the opportunity to visit classes and meet new classmates and teachers.
  4. The applicant will have an admissions interview.
  5. Bishop Gorman will send, in writing, the admissions decision very shortly after the admissions interview providing all information in the admissions file is complete.
    Students who are accepted to the Bishop Gorman Catholic School will complete the registration with the  applicable registration fee per student. 
  6. Students put into a waiting pool will be notified by telephone if a position becomes available. Waiting pool decisions are made using the same criteria usually used for admission.

Bishop Gorman offers twenty-four Honors classes including nine approved AP courses in English, art, biology, calculus, chemistry, Spanish, world history and statistics (designated with an H, Pre -AP, or AP respectively).

100% of Bishop Gorman graduates in the Class of 2016 were accepted to post-secondary academic institutions or career training programs.
