Established in 1956, Bishop Alemany is a four-year, coeducational
high school of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of
Los Angeles. Current enrollment is approximately 1,350
students. The graduating class of 2015 had 98% of its
members go on to post-secondary education.


Accreditation and Membership
Bishop Alemany High School has been awarded the maximum six-year accreditation (through June 30, 2017) by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It also maintains memberships in the following organizations: National Catholic Education Association, Western Catholic Education Association, The College Board, and National Association for College Admission Counseling and the Western Association for College Admission Counseling.

Bishop Alemany High School is located in the northwest San Fernando Valley, adjacent to the San Fernando Rey de España Misión. It serves both Catholic and non-Catholic families from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

A comprehensive curriculum enables Bishop Alemany to welcome students whose academic abilities differ greatly. It provides courses on all levels, from high school and college-preparatory through honors, accelerated, and Advanced Placement. For the class of 2016, the

A = 4 B = 3 C = 2 D = 1 F = 0
Not included in Academic GPA are PE, Health, and TA.
