Bishop Rosecrans is a four year comprehensive college preparatory high school with grades 9-12. The school is fully accredited by the Ohio Department of Education and Accredited by Ohio Catholic Schools Accrediting Association. School is in session 180 days from August to May each year. The school day begins at 7:55 a.m. and ends at 2:40 p.m. Transportation can be done by public school district bus, as well as student & parent drivers. There are 8 periods in the school day, not including lunch. Each period is approximately 42 minutes. Educational opportunities include a challenging Advanced Placement, Honors, or College Preparatory curriculum, College Credit Plus Options. We have 1 Intervention Specialist and tutoring is done both by teachers and students (student tutoring through National Honor Society). Student/Teacher Ratio 10:1 and 20% of students are non-Catholic. Lunch provided from Bishop Fenwick, or students may pack their lunch. We offer a variety of sports (Baseball, Boys/Girls Basketball, Cross Country, Cheerleading, Football, Golf, Boys/Girls Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Track and Field, Volleyball). Musical programs include both class and extracurricular participation in Instrumental Music or Choir. There are many ways to get involved in extracurricular activities. We enroll international students from over 5 countries each year. Students benefit from learning from each other about the diverse cultures and customs. This is becoming an increasingly more relevant and important source of diversity for our school. Financial aid is available through the FACTS tuition assistance system and parish assistance.
