The school was founded by the Vermont Baptist Convention and was associated with that denomination for the first 60 years of its history. From the beginning, students came from all over the country and from many foreign nations. |

Applicant information For applicants who are not native English-speakers and/or have not attended a school where English is the language of instruction during the last two years, Vermont Academy requires secondary language testing. We accept TOEFL (school code 6892), IELTS, and Duolingo scores. Given the uncertainty regarding the availability of standardized testing options, we will not require all other forms of testing for the 2021-22 application. |
