Springwood School was established in 1970 and is located on the west side of Lanett, Alabama, in Chambers County. Springwood is both a boarding school for students in grades 9 through 12 and day school for students in K4 through 12. Founded in 1970, Springwood has a fifty year tradition of excellence in independent college preparatory education. We invite you to explore our website. Here you will learn more about the school’s philosophy, curriculum, awards, highlights, college acceptances, athletics and fine and performing arts programs. Springwood provides a welcome home and an excellent college preparatory high school education to international students. We offer our students strong academic instruction and support, as well as numerous athletic, fine arts, and enrichment opportunities. Springwood School has a beautiful, wooded campus and is a safe environment for students. We have a mild climate year round. Springwood has a 100% college placement record and our students have enrolled in colleges and universities of their choice throughout the United States and abroad. Currently we have 30 international students enrolled making up 20% of our high school student population. Springwood has enrolled students from 17 different countries. |

We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents a tool for tracking online the status of their admission after their application has been submitted. A non-refundable fee of $75 must be submitted with each application. |
