Springwood School was established in 1970 and is located on the west side of Lanett, Alabama, in Chambers County.
Springwood has a forty-seven year tradition of excellence in college preparatory education. The school provides an independent education in a Christian environment to all students. Each day on the campus at Springwood, students are exposed to strong academic instruction, technology and resources, as well as numerous avenues to express their individuality through athletics and fine arts. These experiences combine to help each student grow intellectually, physically, and spiritually. Spring-wood is committed to keeping the school and its activities family oriented and Christ-centered.
The Spring-wood campus consists of the following buildings: Fine Arts Center, High School, Media Center, Elementary School, Primary - Kindergarten Building, Gymnasium, International Residence Facility, Football Stadium and Baseball/Softball Fields. Springwood offers a beautiful, secluded campus which contributes to a safe environment for children and peace of mind for parents.   Springwood has a forty-seven year tradition of excellence in college preparatory education. Springwood is both a boarding school for students in grades 9 through 12 and day school for students in K4 through 12.

Springwood provides a welcome home and an excellent college preparatory high school education to international students. We offer our students strong academic instruction and support, as well as numerous athletic, fine arts, and enrichment opportunities. Springwood School has a beautiful, wooded campus and is a safe environment for students. We have a mild climate year round. Springwood has a 100% college placement record and our students have enrolled in colleges and universities of their choice throughout the United States and abroad. Currently we have 30 international students enrolled making up 20% of our high school student population. Springwood has enrolled students from 17 different countries.

Admission Requirements

The Admissions area of our website is designed to make the application process as simple as possible using our Online Application. We encourage families to apply online as it simplifies submission and provides parents a tool for tracking online the status of their admission after their application has been submitted. A non-refundable fee of $75 must be submitted with each application.
 
To begin the Online Application process, select Create an Account. Then log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You will then have the flexibility to log in and out of your account and access your open application.
After submitting the application, you will be able to track online your admissions status at the school by logging in to your account. There you will be able to print the completed applications, monitor when the school receives supplemental application forms and, if necessary, reprint the supplemental forms.
