Fox Valley Lutheran High School

FVL was founded in 1953 by an association of Wisconsin Synod members in the Fox River Valley area. In 1958, 16 congregations joined together in a federation for support of FVL. Currently, 42 WELS congregations within a thirty-mile radius of the school comprise the Fox Valley Lutheran High School Federation.
Enrollment rises to 569, with 50 international students from 13 different countries, including 10 from China. Mortgage reduced to under $3 million as Growing in Grace continues to meet its goals. Solar panels installed to save on electricity costs. Dinner Auction raises $104,000 to top the hundred thousand mark for the first time. Accreditation team recommends that FVL receive exemplary accreditation status. FVL Stem Academy opens its doors. All-weather track renovation completed. FVL Schools incorporated as a separate entity.
Construction for the Let the Children Come building project begins in March. FVL receives recognition as a PLTW Distinguished School for 2017-18. Zayne Rodencal and Louisa Marxen receive the 2018 All-American Athlete of the Year Award from the NSCA. FVL has 3 students in the first AYES gruaduating class. Colten Schild receives Baseball Player of the Year. The Let the Children Come building project is completed in August 2018 and is dedicated in October.

Application process – Enrollment is to be completed online and in conjunction with the Guidance Department of FVL.  Application and enrollment materials are available on our website at www.fvlhs.org.  Enrollment and full participation in all classes and co-curriculars is open to all students who are willing to abide by the philosophy and policies of Fox Valley Lutheran High School.  FVL does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin, or disability in the administration of its educational programs.  All international student admissions to FVL will be reviewed and approved or denied through the Guidance Department.  
 

Academics – International students are expected to take a complete academic load as they fulfill graduation requirements.  The course of study, as with all students at FVL, will be determined by their past academic history, interests and abilities, and anticipated graduation date.  The Guidance Department will work with the student in determining a class schedule.  All students may sign up for any classes and programs offered by FVL. Prerequisites and other limiting factors apply equally to all students except as outlined in the Religion section below. All students are required to enroll in a minimum of 7 credits per year. Any exceptions must be approved through the Guidance Department. Transfer credits are accepted at the discretion of the Guidance Director and will be reflected on the student’s official FVL transcript.
